Researcher in the field of Integrated Material and Structural Research at the DTU Civil Engineering, Section for Structures and Safety. The applications for a full-time position as researcher within the field ofthe field of integrated material and structural research.

The position as a researcher is a permanent entry-level position.

Required Qualifications

1. Candidates must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

1. Strong potential and profile for research documented through original publications and citations in international scientific journals;
2. Experienced in successful collaborations and research projects; and
3. Creative, innovative and driven by scientific curiosity and willingness to collaborate with students, colleagues and external partners.

Additionally, the candidate should:

1. have experience with cementitious materials and fiber reinforcement, have an understanding how the material properties influence the structural response.
2. have knowledge about oil/gas well construction
3. have experience working in the laboratory with advanced testing and measuring techniques for structural purposes.
4. Experience working with digital image correlation and fiber optics measurements will be beneficial.

Responsibilities and tasks involved

The candidate is expected to be heavily involved in research programs related to cementitious materials in the field of oil and gas extraction. 

Salary and Type of employment

1. The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
2. The position as a researcher is a permanent entry-level position.
3. After a maximum of four (04) years, a researcher can be promoted to a senior researcher position after assessment.
