Square Mile International Scholarship; Master’s, De Montfort Uni. 1115 views

Square Mile international scholarship, aims to improve the lives of inhabitants close to its campus using the skills and knowledge of the university community. This scholarship allows talented international student to provide their personal skills and enthusiasm for volunteering to this project, while benefiting from a first class Masters education.

Eligibility:
  • This full scholarship will be granted to brilliant student wanting to enter Masters study
  • Applicant must have Ist class bachelor’s degree or equivalent, already achieved or expected
  • Applicant must have an offer of admission from DMU
  • Applicant must provide evidence of commitment to volunteer for the Square Mile project while at DMU.
  • Student must have excelled academically and must show a clear passion in supporting the local community.
  • There is only one scholarship award available and it will be awarded through an application and selection process.
  • The scholarship will cover tuition-fees, one return flight to the UK and back and a living allowance.

Application process
  • Complete the scholarship application online (link is given at the end)
  • statement (500 words) must cover the following points:
    • understanding of and passion for the chosen area of study
    • examples of volunteering work or commitment in the local community
    • How you would make a positive contribution to DMU’s Square Mile project.
    • How the scholarship and a DMU postgraduate degree would help you to contribute to your local community in the future.
  • Education summary must include qualifications or results achieved to date, including awarding institution and GPA achieved.
