Postdoctoral Research Associate in Catalysis, Organic Chemistry (1 posts)
Applications are invited for one Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Dr. Rangappa Keri on a research project funded by Jain University, Bangalore for a period of up to 24 months. The project involves catalysis and its application to synthetic organic chemistry.
Requirements: You should have a PhD in organic chemistry or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment and have expertise in the design and execution of synthetic schemes and a strong appreciation of mechanism in organic chemistry.
Duties include developing and testing new hypotheses, analysing and reviewing scientific data, and managing own academic research and administrative activities, involving small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include establishing a vigorous research program, teaching graduate students, and providing professional/institutional services.
