UWE Millennium Scholarship: UWE Millennium Scholarship

Scholarship Value: 50% tuition fees

Nationality: open for International students

The University of West of England is offering the Millennium Scholarship. The scholarship is open for students who have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in an undergraduate degree.

Recipients of this scholarship will be required to:

1. undertake an internship working within the International Office or other departments and
2. will also be required to undertake the ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course.

Level of study: Undergraduate coursework

Subject Area: Any discipline offered by the university

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Applicant must have achieved the equivalent of a British first in an undergraduate degree
2. Applicants must hold an unconditional offer or a conditional offer where IELTS or equivalent English language is the only condition
3. Applicant must be a new student to UWE Bristol with no previous UK study
4. Applicant must be classed as overseas for fees purposes
5. Applicant must not be a sponsored student or in receipt of any other scholarship/award
6. Applicants must provide official transcripts at the time of application.

How to apply:

1. The application can be done by the students via submitting a scholarship application through the given link: https://welcome.uwe.ac.uk/live/sits.urd/run/siw_lgn
2. The applicants who have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in an undergraduate degree will be invited to apply via their UWE Welcome portal by completing the scholarship task.
3. If the candidate accepts the scholarship, he/she will need to pay £3,000 as deposit to UWE Bristol within a week of receiving the scholarship offer letter.
4. The applicant will also be required to prove that he/she satisfies the UKVI criteria in terms of being able to cover living costs and the remainder of the fees.
